The Return Of Greg Proops Net!

We're back, and we're better and bigger than ever before.

Greg Proops Net has returned!

After being shut down for nearly two months, Greg Proops Net has reopened its pearly gates once more to Proops fans of all ages across the globe.  The return of the site is primarily thanks to Mr. Proops himself, who asked, in person, for the site to make a comback on the interwebs, and to all of the loyal visitors and viewers of GPN who took the time and effort to email me, asking for the site back.  And thus, here we are - with a small host of new features to boast!

Probably our biggest and most important new feature is the spiffy new news system.  There are now two functional ways to keep up with your Greg-related news.  The Proops Periodical will serve as the sole source for all things having to do with Greg - tour updates, insider information on his upcoming roles and film work, release dates, and so forth.  The Network News will act as the gateway to updates and info concerning the main website.  Any time anything will be added to GPN, it will be reported via The Network News - from video clips, to audio snippets, to new icons, and so forth.  What is so nice about these news systems are how fully functional and easy to use they are.  On the righthand side you'll see different categories, tags, and links that will help you browse and navigate through old and past news, allowing you to catch up on things you either might have missed, or to quickly and simply relocate a bit of news that you wanted to re-read.  You can also type in phrases, keywords, etc., into the searchbox, and find things that way as well.  All posts are automatically archived per month.

If you have Livejournal, you can also watch both news systems and have all updates and feeds go directly onto your friends page.  Please watch and add ProopsNews and ProopsNetNews to your friends list for instant updates!

Probably our next biggest set of news is that, after a good deal of hard work, hand-coding, editing, and designing, the Greg Proops Net Forum - The Proops Experience is finally open for business!  Please do flock on over and check it out, and start posting away!  There are a series of threads and sections for your discussion delight.  Just please be sure to read over the rules and regulations before posting.  Enjoy!

Another big change is that the Icons And Avatars section has been utterly revamped.  Each artist now has their own individual page with links to their personal pages, how they wish to be credited, etc.  It's a much better system to give more credit to the artists who deserve them, who happily and kindly allow GPN to display their beautiful work.
